I was born and raised on the island of Maui in the state of
Hawaii and it is still our favorite family destination. I attended BYU-Hawaii
then transferred to BYU-Provo. I graduated with a B.S. degree in Home
Economics.
My husband's name is Lane and we have three children. Our
oldest daughter Jill is married and lives in Texas. Our second daughter
Kristen just started her junior year at BYU and our son Kyle just started
his plebe year at West Point.
I enjoy sewing, reading, and doing family history. I also
enjoy cooking and baking all kinds of food, especially ethnic cooking and
chocolate desserts. Some books I have enjoyed reading are, The Poisonwood
Bible, The Mitford series by Jan Karon, and The Secret Life of Bees.
I enjoy working with children and look forward to
working with students at OCS.
