Joy Satomi Miller, Kindergarten Instructor
jmiller@odysseycharter.net
I was born and raised in
Hawaii. I graduated from Leilehua High School on Oahu and went to BYU-Hawaii.
While I was there, I taught piano lessons to some of the professors'
children and also played keyboards in a rock band.
After serving an LDS mission in Sapporo,
Japan, I finished college and received a BA in Music with a minor in
Japanese. I taught part time at the Keiki School of Music and worked full
time at the Polynesian Cultural Center. After three years there, I decided
to move to Provo so I could find someone to marry!
I am married to Mel and we have three
daughters, ages 19, 17, and 15. My favorite subjects in school were music
and art. My favorite place I've traveled to is Switzerland. My favorite food
is Oriental and Hawaiian food. I like to go sight seeing and love to listen
to music and watch movies.
