Tamara Hill, Instructor

thill@odysseycharter.net
This is my second year at Odyssey Charter School. As
many of you know, I got married this summer and am no longer Ms. Izaguirre,
but Mrs. Hill (it's taking some time for me to get used to!).
I have spent the past five years at Brigham Young University studying
Elementary Education and Child Psychopathology. This quest for knowledge led
me to spend some time in Iasi, Romania teaching in an orphanage and at a
children's hospital.
I was born in Los Angeles and spent my childhood in Southern California. I
am the oldest of four children and spent a lot of my teenage years helping
my mother in her Special Ed and Resource classes. Through that experience I
learned that education was my passion.
My favorite subjects in school were Dance, Philosophy and Art History, which
explains why my favorite places I have traveled are Greece and Italy
(especially the Vatican Museum and the Acropolis). My favorite books are the
books of my childhood, namely Alice in Wonderland, The Chronicles of Narnia
and Peter Pan. I love Mexican food and Cheesecake, and I love to dance and
swim in my free time. I am looking forward to a great year!!! |
