Car Pool Changes |
|
Because many of your carpools have or will change throughout the year, please contact us immediately if any of the following apply:
- Someone drops out of your carpool.
- Someone joins your carpool.
- The carpool driver changes.
- Your family moves.

After School Pick-up Process
To safely and efficiently pick-up the children each afternoon, please do the following:
- AM Kindergarten will be lined up outside for pick-up in the carpool lane; PM Kindergarten will be included in the school-wide procedures as follows.
- Please have your sticker and smile visible when approaching your zone.
- Children will be released and helped into the car by staff members in the carpool lanes. Staff members will verify family name and carpool number and, if needed, ask for the password.
- If carpool staff find any unexplained inconsistency or change, children will be kept in the school office while the car is parked out of the way and a parent/guardian is telephoned.
- If you are in zone Green, then use lane 1. For Red, use lane 2. For Purple, use lane 3.
- For lanes 1 and 2, the middle passing lane is for passing and IS NOT for pick-up.
- For lanes 1 and 2, you will merge into a single lane before exiting. (Circle around the cul de sac when exiting.)
- For lane 3, do a U-turn to exit.
- Please avoid parking and walking in to pick up your children during the pick-up process, as doing so will cause additional congestion. (We don't have the room.)
- During the pick-up process, please do not ask the teachers for a status report on your children.
