My name is Lindsay Rosas and I am excited to be teaching first grade this year at Odyssey Charter School! I am originally from Portland, Oregon and am the oldest of four girls. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I hold dear to my heart the learning and growing that took place in Idaho and am thankful for the formal education I received there. After I graduated from college, my husband and I moved to Utah where I began my first year of teaching in a first grade classroom. I absolutely love the first grade and the energy and excitement that the students have for learning! I could not be happier to be teaching first grade again this year and cannot wait to get to know my students!
As for my interests, I LOVE to read and write. I have a great appreciation for literature and the lessons I learn from within. I love to laugh with my husband and family and appreciate them very much. I love to eat and try new restaurants. I have yet to find anything better than a juicy Texas Roadhouse filet and am not sure I ever will. I love nature and am constantly fascinated with the beauty I am surrounded by. I love to learn and teach others what I learn. I love children. I am constantly learning how to be a better adult through the lessons I learn from the children in my life. I feel incredibly blessed to be a teacher and to get to be taught by my students daily.
I am very excited for this upcoming school year and cannot wait to begin the great adventure that awaits! |
