OCS Theatre Company Presents:

“A Fractured Fairytale Festival”

Congratulations to Everyone! We are so sorry if you did not get the part you wanted. The decision, as always was a very hard one and there were many students to place this year. However, every part is an important one and everyone always ends up doing a little more than what the script says or what they think they will. We have a lot of fun! Thank you to everyone who auditioned and we are very happy to have you.

 

We are so excited to be underway. Our first rehearsal was on Monday, December 19, 2011 and all students were given a permission slip. If you have not turned in your permission slip yet please sign it with your parents and return it at the next rehearsal. Many students who were chosen have not been coming to rehearsal. The schedule is attached at the bottom of the OCS Website. Please print it out and join us on Monday and Friday after school. If for some reason you have decided you cannot be in the play, please let me know so I can replace you with someone else.

Dear Students, Parents, and Families,

Due to a scheduling conflict between the school play on Friday the 17^th and a 2^nd Grade CET activity, Mr. Schellhous has asked that we move the school play performance one last time for Grades 4-6 to Thursday, February 16^th. The time for the play will remain the same – 1:15-2:30 in the Multi Purpose Room and this will allow the 2^nd grade drama kids to participate in the play and their grade level CET the following day. Below you will find the new and final schedule for the play performances.

1^st Performance:  Thursday, February 16, 2012 @ 1:15 pm – Daytime performance for 4^th – 6^th grade.

2^nd Performance: Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 7:00 pm – Nighttime performance for families and friends (Cast needs to be back at school no later than 6:00 pm to get ready).

3^rd Performance: Wednesday, February 22, 2012 @ 7:00 pm – Nighttime performance for families and friends (Cast needs to be back at school no later than 6:00 pm to get ready).

4^th Performance: Friday, February 24, 2012 @ 1:15 pm – Daytime performance for K – 3rd grade.

5^th (and final) Performance: Friday, February 24, 2012 @ 7:00 pm – Nighttime performance for families and friends (Cast needs to be back at school no later than 6:00 pm to get ready).

We are sorry for making yet another change to the schedule and we ask that you please bear with us as approach the performances with anticipation and excitement. Thank you for all your help and understanding in this matter and rest assured that this is the final change we will make.
