Hello, my name is Greta Novotne. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and I am a Level 2 Professional Educator. I am certified in LETRS science of reading, and in 95% reading intervention.

I am excited to begin my 11th year teaching first grade at Odyssey Charter School! As a first grade teacher, I have the wonderful privilege to introduce children to great literature, and to give them the skills to become proficient readers. I love creating fun and engaging lessons that build student confidence and promote student success. My goal is to create a safe, happy classroom where every child is valued and respected. My desire is to help children discover the joy of learning.

My creative outlets are cooking, gardening, and photography. I like hiking and exploring, and enjoy tackling a good DIY project.
