Safety Corner
In our effort to continuously improve safety at Odyssey, we are concentrating on visitor check in process. All visitors must check in with a member of the front office staff. Once they have done this, they will check in on the front office computer and receive a badge to wear while they are in the school.
Badges allow Odyssey to know who is in the school at all times for safety and in case of an emergency. In addition, we can easily read the visitors name and where they are visiting or volunteering. It is school policy all visitors and parents wear a badge while in the school, even if in the school on a regular basis.
Identification will be required when checking out a student. Students will not be called down to the office until identification has been checked and the student has been checked out on the computer at the front office.
