Room 102

My name is Maisy Richards, and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at Odyssey Charter School. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a supportive and inspiring school community.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from BYU-Idaho, where I also received my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification.

Outside of the classroom, I love to travel and be outdoors with my husband. I enjoy weight training and drinking Dr. Pepper (balance in all things) and I enjoy playing and listening to music.

My goal is to meet students where they are while challenging them to reach their full potential. I strive to create a safe, welcoming classroom environment and provide instruction that is rigorous, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. I also believe strongly in having both high love and high expectations for students, aligned with Odyssey’s SAIL expectations.
