Room 204

Hello, my name is Sara Pratt. I am thrilled to be part of your child’s educational journey this coming school year in the 3rd grade.

I believe in creating a classroom of creativity and hands-on exploration where every student feels loved, appreciated, welcome and heard. I want each of my students to come excited to learn and find joy in learning and trying new things.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy a variety of creative hobbies, including playing the clarinet, decorating sugar cookies and cakes, quilting, stamping, and reading. Some of my favorite books include Harry Potter, Tuck Everlasting, The Rent Collector, and everything written by Brandon Sanderson—there are just so many great stories to explore!

I have a background in the performing arts as well, having received awards in both ballroom dance and children’s theater. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Music.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching a wide range of subjects—from Band to Hope of America. Among my favorite subjects to teach are Literature, Art, and Science, and I strive to make learning engaging and meaningful for every student.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together for a fantastic year full of learning, creativity, and connection.
