Room 201

My name is Sonja Pettit and I have been teaching 3rd grade at Odyssey since 2019. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and worked in schools for 6 years before that. I believe in fostering an environment of kindness and cooperation among my students. I have taught for a total of 12 years and love helping students realize their potential. I love this school, its staff, and its students! I love reading and my favorite type of books are Young Adult fiction. Some of favorite book series are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Michael Vey. I love doing puzzles; jigsaw, crosswords, and word searches. I also love to listen to True Crime podcasts and try to figure out who did it and why.
